Nouvelle-Aquitaine Open Source (NAOS) is a regional competence center for free and open source software and technologies. Its objective is to promote the development of an economic sector for free and open source technologies in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
NAOS operates the " La Banquiz " acceleration program with partner technology parks.

Le CNLL, l’Union des entreprises du logiciel libre et du numérique ouvert, is the representative organization in France of companies in the open source sector since 2010.
The CNLL brings together the main associations and clusters of Open Source companies in France and represents through them nearly 300 companies specialized ,or with significant activity, in free software (publishers, integrators, consulting companies, etc.) and in open digital (open data, open hardware, etc.).
